Treasurer
I started at SGI in November of 2018 at Regina Salvage, I worked at Salvage as an Autotrades 1 for about 8 months before moving into the Adjusting world as an Auto adjuster 1 at Northwest claims in Regina I worked in this position for 2 years before getting a TPHD as an Auto adjuster 2 where I worked for a year and a half before a decided to give Property a go and expand my knowledge. I work out of the Harbour Landing office as a Property 1 adjuster for Sask property. I joined the Job evaluation Committee in 2019 after which I attended the National Convention for COPE/SEPB in Vancouver. After my amazing experience at the convention, I know that I wanted to be more involved in our Union 397. I put my name forward for the SFL convention last fall and attended at convention I spoke with Stephanie Kerr and asked how I could be more involved. She had mentioned that there were a few committees that I could join that would were looking for members to get involved in. I put my name in for the Chair of the Steward action and education committee which I currently hold. A few months later there was a position for Treasurer I put my name forward and was chosen for the position. I current sit on the Staffing, Building, Policy, Job Evaluation, Constitution committees as well as Chair of the Steward Action and Education committee and the Finance committee.
